Night Time Photography

When doing night time photography and have it come out well.
1> It really help and almost necessary to use a tripod. Nothing fancy - you are looking for stability more than anything.
2> Because it was a very cheap purchase, I use a remote for the shutter. Your hand can vibrate the camera too much even on a tripod sometimes which can make the picture com out blurry if you are not careful.
3> The rest comes down to understanding you camera settings. These are scenes where you do not use a flash. Understand the carious settings for aperture and shutter speed are so important.
------------ Sit in the house where you are comfortable and just play with these settings on an object and watch the different effects these settings can have on simple around the house pictures. Easiest and best way to practice.
Thanks -
Keith
